1. What this page covers

call.podcastpilot.app lets you join a podcast recording as a remote guest, invited by a host who uses PodcastPilot. The service is operated by Video People ApS, Værkstedsgården 15, ST, 2620 Albertslund, Denmark, CVR 41083972, e-mail kontakt@videopeople.dk.

2. Who is responsible

The host who invited you (the podcast producer) is the data controller for the processing of your data in connection with the recording. We operate the call service as a data processor on the host's behalf. Questions about the recording and your rights are therefore primarily for the host; you are also always welcome to contact us.

3. What is processed

The name you enter yourself when joining. A first name is enough.
Your IP address and technical connection data (browser, network quality).
Your camera and microphone streams, in real time, while you participate.
Session times and duration, used for the host's billing.

4. Recording and storage

We never store your audio or video. The streams are relayed to the host's studio in real time and discarded along the way. The host may record the conversation locally on their own computer: such a recording is the host's responsibility as data controller, and the host must inform you about it. We keep session data (your entered name, times and duration) for up to 12 months for billing, after which the name is anonymised.

5. Processors and transfers

LiveKit Inc. (USA): real-time transport of audio and video. LiveKit is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and does not store media.
DigitalOcean: hosting of session data; the server is located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).

6. Cookies

The call page uses no cookies, no local storage and no tracking or analytics.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection under the GDPR. Contact the host who invited you, or us at kontakt@videopeople.dk. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
