Video People ApS, Værkstedsgården 15, ST, 2620 Albertslund, Denmark, CVR 41083972, e-mail kontakt@videopeople.dk, is the data controller for the processing described here.
The application itself sends no recordings, media or usage analytics to us. Your recordings stay on your own machine.
Support packages: if you choose to send a diagnostics package from the app (Settings → Support), it contains your system profile, connected AV hardware, app settings and logs, recent session summaries and crash reports — never your recordings. Packages are transferred encrypted, stored on our EU server, used solely to resolve your support case and deleted after at most 90 days.
We process the data to deliver the service you have purchased (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) – contract), to meet bookkeeping obligations (art. 6(1)(c) – legal obligation) and to secure and operate the service (art. 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest). Newsletters and product news are sent only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every mail or by contacting us.
Where a processor transfers data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Account and license data are kept while your subscription is active and are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Bookkeeping records are kept for 5 years pursuant to the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Server logs are kept for a maximum of 90 days.
The website uses a single, strictly necessary session cookie when you log in to your account page. We use no tracking or advertising cookies — which is why you see no cookie banner. For visitor statistics we use Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted), which is cookieless and collects no personal data: visits are counted in aggregate without identifying individual visitors.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact us at kontakt@videopeople.dk. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
